Merging Minds, Multiplying Impact: A Year-End Update

As we look back at 2024, it has been nothing short of a whirlwind. We merged, we grew our team and our portfolio, we have sharpened our approach to campaign strategy… and we’re just getting started.

As we look to 2025, we have great momentum based on this year’s work. Together, we…

  1. Supported 42 Fundraising Campaigns: From top-tier universities and small colleges to both complex and rural healthcare organizations, we worked on campaigns ranging from more than $2 billion to less than $20 million – all of which start with WHY, and speak to the impact made possible through philanthropic support.
  2. Expanded Our Reach: We’ve supported our clients with everything from staffing strategy to crafting clear and compelling pre-feasibility campaign messages to launching sleek campaign websites. And we’ve expanded our reach geographically as well, serving clients in the U.S. and Australia.
  3. Realized the Power of Fusion: We’ve boldly stated why we think counsel and philanthropic communications should be thoughtfully and purposefully linked together – and we are backing up our big talk with big moves. We have improved, tested, and continue to refine our approach to campaign planning counsel and communications. This ensures that every phase, from the start to the final wrap-up, works together for the client’s benefit.
  4. Built our Team: We’ve welcomed two amazing new staff members and more than 8 new affiliates to the Foster Avenue team. We continue to seek to engage partners who, like you, are inspired by the purpose of our client work and our vision for communications as a throughline in campaigns.
  5. Spread the Word: Beyond our client work, we are dedicated to being a part of the conversation about best practices in campaign strategy and modern approaches to campaigns. Members of the team have presented with the Giving Institute, CASE, Marts&Lundy’s Azure Summit, the American Association of Law Schools, and the Woodmark Group, and appeared on the Alumless and For Your Institution podcasts. On top of that, we were included in articles by the Chronicle of Higher Education and the Major Gifts Report.
  6. Joined the Giving Community: To top it all off, we’re proud that Foster Avenue has joined The Giving Institute, a leading organization in philanthropy and fundraising. As a communications firm aligned with the Institute’s mission of advancing charitable causes and maintaining the highest ethical standards, we are honored to join this important group. We look forward to collaborating with fellow members and further enhancing our ability to serve our clients and communities with integrity and innovation.

Whew. What a year. We’re wrapping 2024 more energized than ever to help our clients achieve their ambitious fundraising goals and continue to build our reputation as a trusted, leading marketing agency dedicated to serving mission-driven organizations.
