Celebrating Rural Healthcare Excellence: Guthrie’s “Here. For Good.” Campaign

The Guthrie Clinic has officially launched its “Here. For Good.” campaign, and we couldn’t be more excited for them.

Rural healthcare faces unique challenges, and Guthrie has spent decades rising to meet them. From their flagship hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, to locations across a 14-county region, they’ve built something remarkable: a health system that delivers metropolitan-level care with the heart of a community partner.

What Makes This Campaign Special

The “Here. For Good.” campaign is about more than fundraising for critical healthcare needs – it’s about Guthrie’s promise to their communities. Through our work together, what struck us most was how deeply this organization understands its role. They’re not just treating patients well; they’re anchoring communities, training the next generation of rural healthcare providers, and proving that geography doesn’t have to limit excellence.

During our discovery process, Guthrie’s leadership shared stories that illustrated this commitment: the cardiovascular program that handles one in every three to four cardiac procedures in their region, the telemedicine initiatives bringing specialists to patients’ homes, the fellowship programs ensuring rural communities will have expert care for generations to come.

The Work Behind the Launch

Our role was to help Guthrie tell their story with the clarity and impact it deserved. We developed messaging that captured both their clinical excellence and community dedication, created materials that work across their diverse stakeholder groups, and provided training to ensure their team could confidently, and fluently, share their vision.

Campaign naming often proves to be one of the trickiest parts of the process – but “Here. For Good.” came naturally. It perfectly captures both Guthrie’s geographic commitment and their enduring promise to the communities they serve.

The process reinforced something we see often in our best partnerships: the most compelling campaigns come from organizations that already know who they are. Guthrie didn’t need us to create their story – they just needed us to help them tell it.

Looking Ahead

As Guthrie moves into the public phase of their campaign, they’re well-positioned for success. Their message is clear, their materials are comprehensive, and most importantly, their commitment is authentic.

Rural healthcare matters. Communities like those Guthrie serves deserve access to excellent care, and organizations like Guthrie deserve the philanthropic support that makes that care possible.
